The forefoot is formed from eight fine satin straps, allowing maximum flexibility as the foot points and articulates while securely enveloping it. Each strap extends deep into the sole of the shoe to create a stronger, more dependable construction and prevents the straps from pulling away or breaking.

Adjustable crossover ankle straps help hold the foot securely in place, while the refined satin finish creates an elegant look on the dance floor.

The Verona can be ordered in five heel heights and four width fittings, allowing you to select the combination that feels most comfortable, secure and balanced for your dancing.

Dual-layer cushioning for lasting comfort

The Verona features two layers of air cushioning within the sole. The first layer provides compression to help absorb pressure underfoot, while the second layer delivers softness and comfort.

Together, these layers create an exceptionally comfortable feeling underfoot, helping dancers remain comfortable through long lessons, rehearsals, social events and full days of dancing.

A shorter shank for greater flexibility

A metal shank provides essential structure within the shoe. In the Verona, the shank is intentionally shorter, allowing more of the sole to flex naturally with the foot.

This additional flexibility supports clearer articulation through points, weight transfers and expressive Latin movement without making the shoe feel unnecessarily rigid.

Flexible or more stable buckle strap

The standard Verona buckle strap includes an elastic section, allowing additional flexibility and movement around the ankle.

Some dancers may prefer a firmer, more stable fit, particularly if their weight placement tends to sit towards the heel. For these dancers, we recommend replacing the elastic section of the buckle strap with satin.

Width fittings and custom-made service

The Verona is available in narrow, regular, wide and extra-wide fittings, helping dancers achieve a more comfortable and secure fit across the foot.

We specialise in creating custom-made widths for dancers who require a more individual fit. This specialised service costs an additional £30, reflecting the extra materials, specialist work and additional production time required to make the shoes.

Fit and Italian sizing

The Verona is supplied in Italian sizing and fits considerably smaller than an everyday shoe.

We recommend ordering two Italian sizes below your normal everyday Italian or European shoe size.

For example, if you usually wear an Italian/EU size 39 in everyday footwear, we recommend selecting an Italian size 37 in the Verona.
