Showcasing Anita Flavina Dance Shoes to the World
On 12th January 2019 Anita Flavina Dance Shoes had the pleasure of show casing at The Universal at the Best Comps. We were delighted to be invited by the event hosts Michael and Lorna Stylianos, and were grateful for the opportunity to show case our new luxurious handmade dance shoe collection.
The event was a huge success and we would personally like to extend our thanks and congratulations to all involved for what was a fantastic event. The Best Comps is a must go destination in the dance world calendar that brings together dancers from all over the world to celebrate dance in its true glory.
Held at the Copthorne Hotel a few miles from Gatwick Airport, the venue was well placed and easily accessed by international dancers. It's also a manageable commute to Bournemouth, where the UK (Open to the World) "Rising Stars" Dance Championships were held on the 15th January 2019 in the Windsor Hall, Bournemouth International Centre.
All attending the Gala Dinner had the privilege of enjoying the amazing showcases by internationally recognised dancers and also debut dancers to UK.
Saturday was an enjoyable day of pro-am competitions and the first time The Best Comps have held a competition of this nature. Although this event was not publicised entries were attracted from Asia, North America, Europe and Australia, definitely an event to put in the diary for next year. I also understand The Best Comps will implement an American Smooth section.
Michetti Studio collaborated with The Best Comps on this occasion to provide the official photo service of this competition. Sunday was a full day of competitions and judges were a universal line up of substance and profession. As always at The Best Comps the atmosphere in the round room where the competition is held was very relaxed and enjoyable with all levels of the dance world intermingling and supporting one another. True professionals and a great group of nice people!

It's always lovely to meet up with dancers we have met in the past and also to meet new dancers and develop relationships with them.
