Anita Flavin the founder and designer, has spent many years immersing herself in the world of dance, researching and working with professional dancers globally, during which time she was able to understand fully the requirements for the perfect dance shoe, and what was most important to deliver.
Anita’s reputation in the industry has been built on the values of performance, dynamism, empowerment and passion, and is now endorsed by some of the most influential world-famous professional dancers she has worked with, who collaborate with her on the designs and who you will see featured on the website and in her campaigns wearing the collections.
The feel and fit of dance shoes are one of the most fundamental components as any dancer will testify. The unique and beautiful designs of her collections, meticulous attention to detail and professional construction using premium quality, soft Italian leathers and materials, have all contributed to Anita’s reputation for producing some of the most comfortable and hard-wearing dance shoes in the business.

There is a huge rise in the number of new dance-related television programs. Salsa and social dance clubs are one of the fastest-growing pastimes in the U.K. alongside Latin and Ballroom dancing classes, with a massive 12% of the adult population taking up dance in their spare time.
Anita has identified a niche market yet to be tapped into by the large high street retail chains and smaller independents.
Anita has just appointed Sean Farrell as Head of Retail Operations in the UK. Sean will bring to the business over 25 years working in the fashion and footwear industry for some of the most influential international retailers and has extensive experience in planning, buying, selling and operations across both bricks and mortar and omni channel content platforms. Sean was former Retail and Operations Director for Office, OffSpring, Poste & Poste Mistress and has owned a successful chain of boutique shoe stores called Sniff located in Shoreditch and the West End.
